Nininbaori - Let's eat

		(Customer is sitting at a table in a cafe, waitress approaches.)

きゃく		おなかが　ぺこぺこです。　メニューを　ください。

ウェートレス		どうぞ。 (Goes away while customer reads menu, then returns.) なにに　しますか。

きゃく		バナナを　ください。

ウェートレス		バナナ！

きゃく		はい、　バナナを　ください。

		(Waitress leaves, then returns with banana on a tray.)

ウェートレス		はい、どうぞ。

きゃく		いただきます。　 (peels banana and takes a bite) まずいです。みずを　ください。

ウェートレス		(fills a glass with water)　はい、どうぞ。

きゃく		(takes a big, slurpy drink) ああ、おいしい。　 (picks up a fan) 　あついですね。　 (wipes brow with handkerchief from pocket)　とても　あつい　です。　おなかが　ぺこぺこです。　 (looks at menu again)　スパゲッティを　ください。

ウェートレス		はい、わかりました。 (leaves and returns with a bowl of spaghetti) スパゲッティです。　どうぞ。

きゃく		ありがとう。　 (brings bowl to nose and sniffs) 　おいしそう。　スパゲッティ　だいすき！　いただきます。　 (starts to eat spaghetti) 　おいしい…　おいしい。　 (finishes and pushes bowl away)　おなかが　いっぱいです。　おかんじょう、おねがいします。

ウェートレス		(writes out the bill)　どうぞ。

きゃく		(can't read bill properly) いくらですか。

ウェートレス		十五(じゅうご)ドルです。

きゃく		( takes money from wallet and pays)　はい。

ウェートレス		ありがとうございました。　また　きて　ください。

きゃく		ごちそうさまでした。　(waves to audience)　さようなら。
